MLA Small & Strategic Pre-Conference

The MLA Small and Strategic Pre-Conference is geared specifically to frontline library staff from Michigan’s small and rural libraries, providing an opportunity for these dedicated library workers to network, learn, and discuss the concerns and needs specific to small libraries. The Small and Strategic Pre-Conference will be held ahead of the MLA 2024 Annual Conference on October 15, 2024 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan.

The Small & Strategic Pre-Conference is now full! Please join the waiting list to be contacted in case a spot opens up.

This event is limited to 100 attendees. Registration for staff from class 1, 2 and 3 libraries as well as statewide organizations opens June 27, 2024. Registration for staff from all libraries opens after Friday, August 2, 2024.
