The MLA Legislator of the Year is reserved for elected officials demonstrating outstanding leadership in promoting libraries and their important place in our communities. Their steadfast efforts to see that libraries are adequately funded, supported and serve the community are appreciated not only by our libraries but by all library patrons and Michigan residents.
